Web design for Auckland businesses.

Quentosity designs and builds websites for businesses across New Zealand. For Auckland businesses, that usually means a new site, a rebuild of one that has stopped doing its job, or a set of improvements that make an existing site work harder.

Our studio is at Papamoa Beach in the Bay of Plenty, and most of our client work is delivered remotely, through video calls, email and agreed review points. Where a project is genuinely easier in person, we'll make that happen.

You'll deal directly with the people doing the work.

The Starting Point

When a website stops pulling its weight.

Auckland is a competitive market to be found in. Customers are as likely to arrive on a phone as on a desktop, they compare several businesses before making contact, and they decide quickly whether a site belongs to a business worth talking to.

Most of the websites we're asked to fix aren't broken. They load slowly, they're awkward to use on a phone, the information sits three clicks deep, or there's no obvious next step for someone who is interested. Each of those quietly costs enquiries without ever showing up on a report.

Sometimes the right answer is a new website. Sometimes it's a redesign that keeps what's working and rebuilds the parts that aren't. Occasionally it's a smaller set of changes that makes the biggest difference. We'll tell you which we think it is, and why.

We'd rather recommend the smaller piece of work that solves the problem than the larger one that doesn't.

Common Problems

What we're usually asked to solve.

The site is slow or awkward on a phone

Most visitors arrive on a mobile. If the pages are heavy, the text is small or the contact details are hard to find, the visit ends early.

Nobody in the business can update it

A site that needs a developer for a price change or a new team member is out of date within months.

Visitors arrive but don't get in touch

Often the problem isn't the number of visitors. It's that the next step isn't obvious, or the page doesn't answer the question they arrived with.

The requirements are bigger than a website

Quoting, customer portals, integrations and internal tools. When a website needs to do more, we can build that too.

How a Project Runs

A straightforward process.

Every project is different, but the shape of the work is usually the same.

01

A conversation

We start with what the business needs, what isn't working now and what a good outcome would look like.

02

A plan and a scope

We set out what we recommend, what it involves and what it will cost, so there are no surprises later.

03

Design and build

Design first, then development, with agreed points to review the work as it comes together.

04

Launch and after

We help get the site live, hand over what you need to manage it, and stay available for improvements afterwards.

Discuss Your Project

Let's talk about your website.

Tell us what your site is doing now, what you'd like it to do, and what's getting in the way. We'll come back with a considered view of what we'd recommend.

If what you're after is a smaller, package-based website, our sister company Found works on projects of that shape. Enquire with us first and we'll point you in the right direction.
