Web Design · Hamilton

Web design for Hamilton and Waikato businesses.

Quentosity builds websites for businesses across the Waikato and the Bay of Plenty. We don't have an office in Hamilton: our studio is at Papamoa Beach, and we work with clients outside the Bay of Plenty remotely, with agreed review points and a visit where it's genuinely useful.

One of the projects in our published portfolio, Midland Scaffolding & Rigging, is described in its project record as serving customers across the Bay of Plenty and the Waikato.

We work with Hamilton businesses on new websites, redesigns, and the improvements that keep a site doing its job as the business changes.

The Local Picture

What Waikato businesses need from a website.

Hamilton and the wider Waikato are a different market from Auckland and from the coast. Many businesses here serve a wide area — town, surrounding rural customers and further afield — and the website has to make that coverage clear without making it confusing.

Trade and service businesses in particular live on enquiries: a phone call, a quote request, a form filled in after hours. The website's job is to make that as easy as possible on a phone, often in a hurry, usually straight from a search result.

Being found for the areas you actually cover matters here too, and it's often a more achievable piece of work than competing in a large city.

If you already have a site, the useful question is usually whether it needs replacing, or whether the parts that are losing you enquiries can be fixed. Those are different pieces of work, and the second one is often cheaper.

Common Problems

What we're usually asked to solve.

The site doesn't show the area you cover

Customers searching from a nearby town need to see quickly that you work where they are, not just where you're based.

It's hard to get in touch from a phone

Small tap targets, a form that asks for too much, or a phone number buried in the footer. Most enquiries are lost here.

The site looks dated next to local competitors

A credible business and a tired website are a mismatch that customers notice before they read a word.

There's more to it than a website

Quoting, bookings, job management or the systems behind the work. Those can be part of the project.

How a Project Runs

Easy to start from a distance.

Working with a studio outside your city shouldn't feel like a compromise. For most projects it doesn't.

01

Get in touch

A call or a video chat about the business, what's working and what you'd like the website to do.

02

We'll look at what you have

Where there's an existing site, we'll review it and tell you whether improving it is the sensible route.

03

Design, build and review

The work comes together in stages, with agreed points for you to look at it and feed back.

04

Launch and look after it

We get the site live, show you how to manage it, and stay available as the business changes.

Relevant Work

Work from our archive.

A selection of projects, including one whose project record describes service across the Waikato as well as the Bay of Plenty.

The Midland Scaffolding & Rigging project record describes the company serving customers across the Bay of Plenty and the Waikato; the other projects shown are Bay of Plenty businesses. These are historical examples of work delivered by Quentosity, none is presented as a Hamilton-based project, and the client's website, systems or suppliers may have changed since.

Good to Know

Questions we're often asked.

Discuss Your Project

Let's talk about your website.

Tell us what your site is doing now and what you'd like it to do. A phone call is usually the quickest way to work out whether we're a good fit.

If what you're after is a smaller, package-based website, our sister company Found works on projects of that shape. Enquire with us first and we'll point you in the right direction.
